Hello, I’m Qi Wang! I am a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science at Yingcai Honors College, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). I am an incoming Ph.D. student at Intelligent Software Research Center, Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
My research interests lie in Multimodal LLMs, Agentic AI, and ML Systems. I am particularly interested in building AI systems that can continuously perceive, reason, and act, as well as making them more efficient, reliable, and useful in real-world applications.
Beyond AI, I enjoy exploring computer systems end to end, from programming languages and developer tooling to operating systems, performance, and hardware. In general, I like understanding how things work and making them simpler, faster, and better engineered.
Outside of computers, I care about living a healthy life and enjoy listening to music, especially City Pop and R&B.
